Structural Anomalies

In Kubernetes, there is a class of problems that arise from an incorrect or insufficient configuration for workloads in Kubernetes clusters. We refer to them as structural anomalies.

We integrated third-party open source components into the DKP Insights Engine, that handle specific classes of structural anomalies:

Polaris 

Polaris checks workload configurations against a set of best practices, such as:

• Health Checks

• Images

• Networking

• Resources

• Security

It informs you about potential problems in configurations through insight alerts.
